Erin- Donations Needed
Her name is “Erin” – the Davidson County Animal Shelter (DCAS) staff gave her this name when she came into the shelter in Jan. of this year at only 4 months old. She was adopted the same month and her adoption news was shared with joy. That joy turned to sorrow on Saturday. 1st picture is from Jan. and the second one is what she looked like when she was RETURNED by her adoptive family.
Erin is covered in Mange and instead of getting her the treatment she needed her family brought her back to the shelter after having her in their home for 6 months. The DCAS staff immediately gave her a bath, antibiotics and made her as comfortable as possible. Erin will NOT be going back on the adoption floor at the DCAS, she was taken into our “Ginger’s Fund” program and is now at Davidson Animal Hospital receiving medical care. Erin is a very confused frightened little girl – we ask for your prayers for her complete healing (mental and physical).
Donations are greatly needed for Erin’s medical care. No amount is too small and every penny goes directly towards the animals care. Donations can be made online through the donate link on this page, through our FB page or by mail to: Ginger’s Fund, PO Box 1036, Thomasville, NC 27361. Ginger’s Fund FOS-DCNC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, your donations are tax deductible. Thank you for your continued support <3.
